I find this an interesting article due to the fact that with the “Race to the Top” funds Tennessee schools will be switching over to online testing in 2014. Huge decisions need to be made regarding technology as well as purchasing technology that will handle this type of requirement. I won’t even go into giving students equal opportunity to have and get used to using this type of technology so they will not have poor scores due because he/she is not able to use the technology. And in my case the accommodations that will be provided with online testing that may cause more of a distraction than be helpful.
I would love to research and study the effects of the technology, online testing implementation and scores.
